How to: Change the default colors for the font, background, or gridlines.
Solution:
Select 'Options...' from the 'Tools' menu, make the desired changes in the 'Default Colors' group of the 'Datasheet' tab, and click 'Apply' or the 'OK'.
1) Select the 'Tools' menu and select 'Options...'. (The Options dialog box appears.)
2) Click the 'Datasheet' tab.
3) To change the default colors, do one or more of the following in the 'Default Colors' group:
the Default Colors group
a) Select the desired color for the font from the 'Font' drop-down list.
b) Select the desired color for the datasheet background from the 'Background' drop-down list.
c) Select the desired color for gridlines from the 'Gridlines' drop-down list.
4) Do one of the following:
a) Click 'Apply' to apply the new settings and keep the 'Options' dialog box open.
NOTE: Click 'Apply' when there are changes that need to be made to settings on another tab. This avoids having to re-open the 'Options' dialog box.
b) Click 'OK' to apply the new settings and close the 'Options' dialog box.
